The Holocaust and Antisemitism Educators Association (HAEA) is aiming to become provincial specialist association dedicated to Holocaust education and challenging antisemitism in education.

With British Columbia and other jurisdictions set to make Holocaust education mandatory, our goal is to offer qualitative educational tools to address the various facets of the Holocaust, and strengthen alliances in BC and across Canada, to work collaboratively towards a world without hatred and genocide. Focusing on antisemitism as a central theme of the Holocaust is a crucial step for educators and learners to comprehend the complexity and significance of this topic locally and globally.

We invite all BCTF teachers to join what will be the first PSA in Canada dedicated to Holocaust and antisemitism education, to explore creative ways together on how to make the world a safer and more peaceful place! We also invite non-BCTF teachers to join as associate members.
